Households & members

A household is TickTad’s shared space. Every task, note, list, expense, document and calendar entry belongs to a household, and everyone invited to it sees the same picture.

  • A name and optional address.
  • A time zone (used for schedules and due dates).
  • A life stage that controls which modules are on.
  • The members you invite, each with their own login and role.

Each person in a household has their own account and a role that decides what they can do. Learn more in Roles & permissions.

  1. Open Settings → Family.
  2. Create an invite and share the link (or QR code).
  3. The person signs up and joins your household.

Invites can be scoped to a role, so you decide up front whether someone joins as a full member, an admin, or a helper.

You can belong to more than one household (for example, your own and your parents’). Switch between them from the account menu.
