Triage items
Triage is where the inbox pays off: you sort captured items into their final home.
How triage works
Section titled “How triage works”- Open an inbox item.
- TickTad suggests a destination and pre-fills fields.
- Adjust anything, then save.
The five destinations

|---|---|
| Task | A task on your calendar/task list, with date and time pre-filled. |

How suggestions work
Section titled “How suggestions work”TickTad reads the text and looks for signals:
- A currency amount → expense.
- A date or time → task.
- Keywords like “buy”, “groceries”, “shopping” → todo list.
- Words like “invoice”, “receipt”, “bill” → expense.
- Words like “note”, “idea”, “thought” → note.
- Otherwise, a file → document, and plain text → note.
Triage in batches during your weekly review — the inbox is designed to be cleared, not hoarded.
