Create a task
Creating a task takes seconds, but the details make it stick. Here’s every field.
The essentials
Section titled “The essentials”- Title — what needs doing. Keep it short and specific.
- Assignee — who’s responsible. Leave unassigned for shared chores.
- Due date — when it’s due. Optional for undated reminders.
Schedule
Section titled “Schedule”- Frequency — once, daily, weekly or monthly.
- Repeat every — e.g. every 2 weeks, or every 3 days.
- Days of week — for weekly tasks, pick the specific weekdays.
- Day of month — for monthly tasks.
- Time — set one or more times (e.g. morning and evening).
- Start / end date — bound a repeating task to a period.

Extras
Section titled “Extras”- Priority — flag the things that can’t slip.
- Description — extra context, steps, or links.
- Photo / file — attach a reference (a photo proof of what “done” looks like, a recipe, etc.).
- Kind — routine, ECA or grocery (see Task kinds).
When money is involved
Section titled “When money is involved”For an ECA task you can set a fee and a cycle (per class, per month, per term, or one-off). This fee automatically appears in your Expenses.
- Use the voice button to create tasks hands-free — Create a task by voice.
- Add a photo to show exactly what “done” means.
- Set priority on anything with a hard deadline.
