What is TickTad?

TickTad is one calm home for everything your household is juggling. It brings together four things that usually live in four different apps:

  1. Tasks — chores, to-dos, reminders and routines, with owners, schedules and a simple two-step “done → confirmed” flow.
  2. Whiteboard — your idea sketchpad: sticky notes for ideas, plans and things you haven’t filed yet.
  3. Inbox — a universal capture tray. Share, paste or photograph anything from any app, and sort it into the right place later.
  4. Expenses — spending, receipts, budgets and charts, for one person, two, or a whole family.

TickTad is built around three life stages:

  • Solo — run your own home: tasks, lists, notes, calendar and money.
  • Partnered — share the load with a partner and split responsibilities.
  • Family with kids — add children, their activities, the family calendar and, if you employ a helper, their contract, leave and salary.

You pick your stage when you set up your household, and TickTad switches on the right features. You can change it at any time.

The features aren’t separate silos:

  • A task with a cost becomes an expense, and appears on the calendar.
  • An idea on the whiteboard becomes a task when you’re ready to act on it.
  • Anything captured in the inbox can be sorted into a task, note, document or expense.
  • A receipt photographed into the inbox feeds your expenses automatically via OCR.
