Two-step completion

When a helper (or anyone) is assigned work, TickTad uses a two-step completion flow so nothing is marked done without being checked.

  1. The assignee finishes the task and taps Mark done — optionally adding a photo proof.
  2. The owner or admin sees it and taps Confirm (or Reject with a note).

Only after confirmation does the task count as completed.

  • Pending — scheduled, not started.
  • In progress — started.
  • Done — the assignee says it’s finished (awaiting confirmation).
  • Confirmed — the owner approved it.
  • Rejected — sent back with a note.
  • Ask for photo proof on tasks where it matters (clean rooms, watered plants).
  • Use reject with a note to give feedback instead of re-doing it yourself.
  • For your own tasks (no helper), marking done is enough — no confirmation needed.
