Modules
TickTad is organised into modules — self-contained features you can switch on or off. Your life stage picks a sensible default set, and you can adjust from there.
Core modules
Section titled “Core modules”These are on for everyone:
- Dashboard — today’s overview.
- Tasks — chores, to-dos and routines.
- Whiteboard — the idea sketchpad.
- Calendar — schedules and sync.
- Documents — files and expiry reminders.
- Expenses — spending and budgets.
Optional modules
Section titled “Optional modules”- Family — partner and children profiles.
- Children — kids’ profiles (a sub-feature of Family).
- Pets — your pets, listed in the Family section (a sub-feature of Family).
- Meals — recipes, meal planner, meal plans, and community.
- Todo — grocery and general lists.
- Helper — helper profile, contract, leave and salary.
- ECA — extra-curricular activities (a sub-feature of Expenses).
Turning modules on or off
Section titled “Turning modules on or off”- Open Settings → Modules.
- Toggle any module on or off, or switch your life stage to reset to a preset.
- Hiding a module hides its pages — it doesn’t delete any data.
Reordering the navigation
Section titled “Reordering the navigation”You can also change the order of the app’s navigation so the modules you use most are where you expect them:
- Open Settings → Modules.
- Reorder the entries.
- Your order is saved per household, so every member sees the same layout.
The Inbox is a manager-only feature, but it sits in the same list and can be reordered alongside the modules.
See Life stages for the preset each stage applies.
