Quick start

Follow these steps to go from sign-up to a confirmed task.

Open the app and register with your email, or sign in with Google. Then name your household — this is the shared space your tasks, notes and expenses live in.

Pick Solo, Partnered or Family with kids. TickTad switches on the right modules for that stage (and you can fine-tune them later in Settings). See Life stages.

Tap Tasks and create a task. Start simple: a title and a date is enough. Read Create a task for the full set of fields.

Open the Inbox and paste some text or share a photo. This is the habit that makes TickTad stick — see the capture-first habit.

From Settings → Family, invite your partner, kids or helper by link. They get their own login and see the shared space. See Households & members.

When a task is done, mark it complete — and if you invited a helper, confirm their work so everyone sees the same status. See Two-step completion.
