Is TickTad free? Yes — there’s a free tier, with a Pro tier for larger households. See Billing & plans.

Do I need a helper to use TickTad? No. The helper module is optional. TickTad works just as well for solo people and families without one.

Which platforms does it run on? iOS today, as a native app, and on the web.

What’s the difference between “done” and “confirmed”? “Done” means the assignee finished the work; “confirmed” means the owner checked and approved it. See Two-step completion.

Can a task repeat on specific weekdays? Yes — set the frequency to weekly and pick the days. See Recurring schedules.

What can I share into the inbox? Links, text, photos, files and PDFs — from any app with a share sheet. See Share from other apps.

Is OCR private? Yes — OCR runs on your device; images aren’t uploaded to be read.

Do ECA fees appear in expenses automatically? Yes — set the fee on an ECA task and it flows into expenses and budgets.

Are the HK leave rules accurate? TickTad follows the Employment Ordinance, but it’s informational, not legal advice.

Can I belong to more than one household? Yes — switch between households from the account menu.

Can I change my life stage later? Yes, at any time, from Settings → Modules. Your data isn’t deleted.
