Archive & history

TickTad keeps a record of everything, so you can archive completed tasks without losing them.

  • A task’s instances stay in the timeline with who did what and when.
  • Repeating tasks keep generating future instances until their end date.
  • Completed or obsolete tasks can be archived to keep the active list focused.
  • Archived tasks are still searchable from the archive view.
  • Skip an instance you’re deliberately dropping today (e.g. “no school, skip homework”).
  • Cancel a task to stop it entirely without deleting its history.

Rejected tasks go back to the assignee. Fix, re-mark done, and confirm again — the full trail is preserved.
